Creating for Care was founded in 2013 as a way to honor “Tuffy,” the founders’ son, who fought a courageous battle for 18 months, before earning his wings and freedom from pain forever at the age of 3 years young.

Creating for Care focuses on kids serving kids as a means of giving hope to vulnerable children fighting cancer, other life-threatening illnesses, as well as struggling in various life circumstances.  We combine The Arts, service-learning, and animals/nature as some of our tools, while young hands and feet are the service piece that impacts the lives of children with cancer in the Greater Houston and Bryan/ College Station area. Kids caring for kids is the most powerful form of love.

We have raised over $80,000, even with the disruption due to the COVID pandemic. Instead of being defeated, it created opportunity for adjustment.  We are growing and expanding our approach and are so excited to partner with WhistleStop Acres. We have work to do, join us!
